Advertising Campaign

We are constantly being challenged—and that became the driving force behind this ad campaign.

The first concept plays with onomatopoeia, echoing the unmistakable sound of skis slicing through snow.

The second dives into the age-old debate: which shoe do you put on first? What better way to settle it than by spotlighting footwear?

Finally, we went for something more direct—a clever wordplay tying together the core theme and the chosen visual.

The creative process behind this project took time—because we weren’t aiming for something ordinary. One standout idea isn't enough; we needed three that hit just as hard.

1. `*SWOOSH SWOOSH*
The first idea draws inspiration from the sound of a foot stepping onto fresh snow—the initial crunch, followed by a rhythmic sequence. It symbolizes how the first step is often the hardest, but once taken, the path becomes easier. This narrative aligns with The North Face’s ethos: encouraging individuals to take risks and embrace the journey.

2. What comes first—socks, then boots?
The second concept adopts a playful, Gen Z tone. It revolves around the everyday dilemma: what comes first—socks, then boots, or sock-boot-sock-boot? It’s a lighthearted take on routine and self-expression, reflecting the spontaneous, expressive spirit of younger audiences.

3. "Not up to the challenge?"
This one’s all about keeping it simple and bold. No fluff. The idea came fast: we’re challenged every day — so show up ready.

The North Face isn’t just gear, it’s the mindset.every day.
